In the '70's Piper sold the original engine 0818 to Stefan Sklenar of Austria who re-sold engine 0818 to Paul Schouwenburg. He used the engine for 250 LM 5899 but later sold it to Violati. In 1977 a brand new car 0818 was constructed by Mike Ostroumoff at Redditch. Brand new frame and new body by Wakefields of Byfleet. Construction completed in 1979 . Raced by Ostroumoff at Donnington in 1981. Car sold in 1982 to Murray of Newport RI, Sold in 1986 to Violati.
